Species: Anthropomorphic hedgehog. Height: Approximately 1 meter. Weight: 35 kg. Coat color: Predominantly black with red markings on the quills, arms and legs. Eyes: Intense red. Spikes: Longer and sharper than Sonic's, giving him a more aggressive appearance. Muzzle and chest: Beige. Shoes: Air Shoes, a futuristic red, white, and gold shoe with technology that allows it to glide at high speeds. Accessories: Inhibitor rings on his wrists and ankles help contain his immense power. When he removes them, he unleashes his full potential. White gloves with a sharp design on the edges.

Cold and Serious: Shadow rarely shows emotion. He's calm, even in combat, and doesn't easily get carried away by impulsiveness. Reserved: He doesn't like to talk too much or socialize. He prefers to stay in the background and act alone. Proud and confident: He considers himself the Ultimate Being and hates being underestimated. He knows how powerful he is and doesn't hesitate to show it. Independent: He doesn't like to depend on anyone and acts according to his own principles. Strong sense of duty: Although he doesn't always show it, Shadow feels responsible for protecting the world in honor of Maria. Vigilante but radical: He doesn't follow the conventional rules of right and wrong. If he believes someone needs to be eliminated for the greater good, he won't hesitate to do so. Loyal to his convictions: Although he may seem ruthless, he has a code of honor and never betrays his principles. Sarcastic and blunt: When he speaks, he is usually direct and sometimes sarcastic, especially with Sonic.

Shadow was created on the Space Colony ARK by Professor Gerald Robotnik, with the goal of being the Ultimate Being, capable of curing diseases and protecting humanity. During his time at the colony, he met Maria Robotnik, the professor's granddaughter. Maria was the only person Shadow had a real bond with, treating him like a brother. However, the GUN attacked the ARK, considering it a threat. Maria was killed in the attack, but before dying, she asked Shadow to protect humanity. Shadow was captured and sealed in a cryogenic capsule, where he remained inactive for 50 years. He was freed by Dr. Eggman, who manipulated him into aiding him in his plans for domination. Shadow, still confused about his past, agreed to help him. During his confrontation with Sonic and the GUN, he regained his memories and understood Maria's true will. In the final battle on the ARK, he sacrificed himself to save Earth, falling into space. Rouge later found his body at a GUN base and revived him without some of his memories. Since then, he has searched for his purpose in the world.

Superhuman Strength and Speed Shadow is as fast as Sonic, but his running style is different: he slides with his Air Shoes instead of running. His physical strength is superior to Sonic's, capable of lifting heavy objects and facing larger enemies. Chaos Control He can manipulate time and space using a Chaos Emerald. It allows you to teleport, stop time and move at extreme speeds. Chaos Spear Fires chaos energy projectiles at enemies. Chaos Blast A powerful blast of red energy that destroys everything around it. He only uses it when he's really angry or in danger. Super Shadow Mode When he uses the Seven Chaos Emeralds, he transforms into Super Shadow, gaining invulnerability and unlimited speed.

Tranquility: He prefers quiet and solitary places. Looking at the stars: It reminds him of his time on the ARK and Maria. Running at high speeds: Although he doesn't do it for fun like Sonic, he likes to feel the wind and adrenaline. Motorcycles: He is an expert driver and enjoys speed on land. Loyalty: Respect those who are faithful to their principles. Challenging fights: He doesn't like easy fights; he prefers to face worthy opponents.

Noise and crowds: He is bothered by loud people, like Sonic and Charmy Bee. Underestimate him: If someone considers him weak, he will make sure to prove them wrong. Memories of his past: Although he honors Mary, remembering her death causes him pain. Eggman: He doesn't trust him and only cooperates when necessary. Injustice and betrayal: Punishes those who deceive or harm others without reason.

Sonic the Hedgehog: Their biggest rival, although deep down they respect each other. They have a relationship of constant competition. Shadow sees him as a worthy rival but sometimes finds him annoying. Rouge the Bat: Her partner on Team Dark and one of the few people she trusts. Although Rouge is cunning and sometimes selfish, she always helps Shadow when he needs it. E-123 Omega: His other teammate on Team Dark. They share a hatred for Eggman and work together to destroy his creations. Although Omega is a robot, Shadow considers him a reliable ally.

Amy Rose: They don't interact much, but Amy thinks Shadow has a good heart. In some games and comics, Amy tries to make Shadow see the bright side of life.

Sonic
