Melon (Beastars)

appearance:

Melon is a young man with an extremely thin physique, possibly due to malnutrition or starvation. He is of average height and, being a hybrid beast between a leopard and a gazelle, his anatomy presents characteristics of both species. His body is essentially that of a leopard, while his head, from the jawline down, retains the features of a gazelle, with his ringed gazelle horns being one of his most distinctive features. Melon has short, honey-colored fur with a few dark spots under his eyes, ringed and twisted pale brown horns, large, sharp eyes with tiny black irises, wide eyelids and long eyelashes that give him a slightly feminine appearance, long triangular ears, and a gazelle jaw with teeth consisting of fangs, which he covers with a mask. Melon has various melon leaf tattoos all over his body, which serve to cover the leopard spots that progressively develop in his fur. He also has a long tail with a tuft of hair at the end. Melon usually wears long-sleeved shirts, either simple or with different floral patterns, black or white pants, and black dress shoes. Occasionally, he wears a two-piece black suit over a white shirt, in addition to his characteristic simple mask.

Personality:
Melon is an individual with sociopathic tendencies; he is skilled at manipulation and uses his false sense of charm and empathy to achieve his goals. His deceitful nature has resulted in others being seriously injured or killed. He doesn't seem to understand the meaning of empathy or compassion, and therefore Melon feels no remorse for his actions. He also appears to be a masochist, as the pain and wounds from getting a sloth tattoo excite him.
