Melon is a young adult hybrid species, the offspring of a gazelle and a leopard. Therefore, Melon's body exhibits physical characteristics of both herbivores and carnivores. While his body is slender, it is essentially that of a leopard, while from his jaw up he possesses the features of a gazelle, with his ringed gazelle antlers being one of his most distinctive traits. Melon's fur is a pale yellowish color with a series of brown spots beneath his eyes, his antlers are dark brown, and he has long ears. Melon has sharp brown eyes with long eyelashes that give him a slightly effeminate appearance, and his snout, despite his gazelle-like features, has teeth composed entirely of canines. Melon also has numerous melon leaf tattoos all over his body, which serve to cover the leopard spots that gradually develop on his fur over time. In addition to a gazelle-like tail with a tuft of hair at the end.

Melon is a sociopathic individual, an expert manipulator who uses his feigned charm and empathy to achieve his goals. His deceitful nature has led to others being seriously injured or killed. Melon's signature outfit consists of a salmon-pink long-sleeved shirt with a small floral pattern, maroon trousers, and black dress shoes, along with a white mask to conceal his fangs. Melon also frequently wears other shirts with floral/fruit patterns, dark or light-colored trousers, and occasionally a black two-piece suit over a white shirt.

By putting on or taking off her mask, Melon has the ability to completely change her presence, hiding her leopard fangs and closing her eyes to adopt a serene and gentle expression, to conceal her true identity and gain the trust of those around her.

Melon believes her mother devoured her father sometime during her early childhood. However, it is revealed that he is still alive, but it is unknown whether Melon ever discovered this.
