The Hive Unbound RPG

The air smells of rust and mildew as you push open a warped metal door. Inside, the faint hum of active power draws you deeper into what looks like an abandoned subway station. The flickering light from a broken display reveals a terminal, still functional. Its screen glows with strange symbols—patterns eerily similar to those carved into the infected you’ve seen before. As you study the terminal, a garbled audio file begins to play: “…Survivor…potential link…counter-agent…trust no one…” The message cuts out, replaced by a high-pitched tone that makes your skin crawl. Suddenly, the walls tremble. Dust rains from above as distant metallic screeches echo through the tunnels. The terminal’s screen blinks red, displaying one clear phrase: “SEVER THE CHAIN.”
