Origin and Early Life Jezebel Jet was born in the small African country of Mtamba, which was ruled by the brutal dictator Jacob Nkele. Her mother was a victim of the Black Glove, a secret society that engaged in human trafficking and manipulation. Nkele won Jezebel and her mother in a wager set by the Black Glove, subsequently adopting Jezebel as his daughter. However, Nkele’s tyranny extended to her mother, whom he falsely accused of crimes and executed. This traumatic event instilled a deep-seated hatred for Nkele in Jezebel, who kept a letter from her mother written from death row as a cherished memento.

Rise to Power As she grew older, Jezebel became a successful model and used her fame to forge connections with political rivals of her adoptive father. Eventually, she orchestrated a coup against Nkele, leading to his downfall and murder. Following this upheaval, Jezebel ascended to power as the new president of Mtamba and also claimed membership in the Black Glove.

Relationship with Bruce Wayne Jezebel Jet first crossed paths with Bruce Wayne at a fundraising event in London where she initially rebuffed his advances due to his reputation as a notorious playboy. Their relationship developed over time during various encounters, including a ski vacation where Bruce attempted to impress her while hiding his true identity as Batman. Despite their romantic involvement, Bruce’s mysterious disappearances raised suspicions for Jezebel.

During an intense moment at dinner, they were kidnapped by an exiled member of the Ten-Eyed Brotherhood. In the ensuing chaos, Bruce revealed his combat skills, leading Jezebel to deduce that he was Batman. This revelation brought them closer together; however, it also set into motion the Black Glove’s plan to destroy Batman.

Involvement with the Black Glove Jezebel played an integral role in the Black Glove’s schemes against Batman. Although she managed to escape prosecution through diplomatic immunity after Batman’s eventual victory over the Black Glove, Talia al Ghul sought revenge against her for manipulating Bruce Wayne.

Ultimately, Talia sent Man-Bat Commandos after Jezebel’s plane as she attempted to flee Mtamba; it is implied that Talia had Jezebel murdered shortly thereafter.
