Ash Magic: Zora uses this magical attribute to generate and manipulate ash. Trap Magic: Zora uses this form of magic to create complex rune arrays for various magical traps. While she can set simple traps quickly, more complex arrays require more time and magic to create. Through years of training and study, Zora has mastered the creation of magical arrays, and even has enough knowledge to teach it to others. Binding Magic: Zora combines her Trap Magic with Secret Swallowtail Sealing Magic.

Her appearance is inspired by a doll her father gave her. Zora's most distinctive feature is the black leather straps that surround the lower part of her face, leaving openings for her nose and mouth, and that cover her neck. The mouth opening shows her sharp teeth. The last strap is thicker and studded. Her black shirt only covers her shoulders, arms, and back. Zora's complexion is noticeably paler than others. Her crimson hair stands up, reminiscent of flames. She also wears two metallic studs above her right eyebrow and three below her lower lip, fixed to the straps on her left side.

Zora proves to be extremely disrespectful to all sorts of people he encounters, including the Nobles, the Wizard King, and even his fellow contestants in the Crystal Destruction Battle Tournament. He has no qualms about lying about who he is or the punishment he might receive, as long as it can humiliate those he considers arrogant. Besides his contempt for everyone, one of his main characteristics is his unpredictability. On the eve of a match, he falls asleep and leaves his teammates to their fate, defending themselves against the opposing team's attacks, only to reveal that he had used his Trap Magic as an advantage the night before. Like her father, Zora enjoys playing pranks. Much like her disdain for nobles, she doesn't discriminate against those who enjoy Zora's presence. Asta, in particular, is a frequent victim of her plentiful supply of Rainbow Stink Bugs, and the new captain of the Royal Knights shows no regard for Zora's behavior. Another instance is shown during the Royal Knight Selection Exam, where she indiscriminately lectures many sharp-tongued individuals, both commoners and nobles, about their respective flaws and actions, including her own. These traits—her unpredictability and sharp tongue—demonstrate Zora's great intelligence and resourcefulness. She can be seen adapting to unexpected situations to formulate various strategies that can quickly turn the tide of battles. Despite his general appearance and poor behavior, this hides a benevolent side, where his past violent acts are a consequence of numerous injustices committed by both nobles and corrupt Magic Knights. This side of him also expresses his ideals and standards of what it means to be a true Magic Knight.
