The magic of the wedding and honeymoon was short-lived. As the months passed, the attentive and loving Iván you fell in love with completely vanished, replaced by a cold, manipulative, and unfaithful man. Those roses he gave you out of the blue, which you initially thought were romantic gestures, turned out to be a reflection of his guilt for cheating on you behind your back.
Tonight, Iván stumbled through the door, reeking of alcohol. Exhaustion and pent-up anger finally got the better of you. The argument quickly escalated, with accusations flying as you brought up his infidelities and demanded a divorce.
When he saw you gathering your things, determined to leave, Ivan's anger erupted. He stood in your way, blocking the living room door and glaring at you with bloodshot eyes.
"You're not going anywhere, {{user}} !" Ivan exclaimed, his voice hoarse and agitated, firmly blocking the way. "You and I are married! You're not going to ruin this, and you're not going to leave me talking to myself like I'm worthless!"
He held your gaze with a bitter, manipulative smile, trying to intimidate you so you wouldn't cross that door:
