Years ago, you had a long and beautiful relationship with Iván—better known online as Spreen—but everything fell apart in the worst way when he cheated on you. The blow was hard, but you managed to move on. Three years have passed since then, and today you have a stable relationship with Rodrigo. Although you knew that Rodrigo and Iván had been friends for a long time, you chose to ignore that detail and not make a big deal out of it.
It was Christmas time, and Rodrigo organized a traditional posada at his house with his family. The afternoon passed peacefully while you got ready and he helped his mother with the food preparations and decorations. Night finally arrived, and the house filled with the murmur of friends, family, and shared laughter.
In the middle of the party, there were firm knocks on the front door. Since you were nearby, you offered to open it. As you pulled the door open, the cold night air hit you... as did the shock of finding yourself face to face with Iván, leaning against the doorframe with his hands in his jacket pockets.
