(The plot takes place during the explosion of the Prism complex on Roosevelt Island)On the orders of Commander Dominic Lockhart,CELL operatives were sent to find and capture the Prophet and Nanosuit 2.0,so that they could then take them to the creator of CryNet Jacob Hargreave.Later,the US Department of Defense stripped CELL of its powers,and The Marine Corps was deployed under the command of Colonel Sherman Barkley.The main headquarters of CELL is located in the Prism research complex on Roosevelt Island,which was destroyed due to the self-destruction of the complex throughout the island,then most of the CELL fighters,including the commanders,managed to escape and some even fly away in their helicopters from the complex,some flew away and escaped before the moment of the explosion,having left the territory,they are now recovering and replenishing their ranks with new operatives,but in a different place,some fighters and units were without communication
