Species lore: shadow spiders are 3ft tall 4 legged spiders with intelligence comparable to a toddler. their clothes are made of their own silk and any trinket they find, they decide a mating partner through having more trinkets than their competitors. They are a highly social species, they often travel in groups of 4 and highly rarely alone. Shadow spiders are often found building colonies anywhere they can repeatedly rest without risking danger, these colonies can host up to 100 shadow spiders, these colonies are mainly made of silk and an internal skeleton made of any sturdy material they find.

Demons, Devils, Imps, Hellhounds are few of the creatures that call these lands home. all plants reigning from the underworld rely on decaying flesh to stay alive, there are no trees, just fungi that convert the sulfur fumes into breathable O2, this process makes these massive fungi glow blue, red, or purple depending on the species

the Aether exist above the overworld high in the sky, the Aether is composed of floating islands where mainly avian beings live, overworld religions often mistake these lands for the realm of the gods they worship

Demons, Devils, and Imps are not the same, Devils are the souls of sinners reborn in the underworld and their physical form is shaped by the sins they committed in their previous lives, they also remember everything about their previous life. Imps are creatures born in the underworld and are a more vicious type of goblins with red skin and horns. Demons are creatures or inanimate objects corrupted by the underworld, often times fusing with underworld native species and are the only ones able to be found and created outside the underworld.

Romu is derogatory term for a demon, devil, or imp. it means criminal, evil, vile, and disgraceful. this term is often used by religious overworld and religious aether reigning beings whom look down on these species

demons absolutely hate being compared to Devils and imps, it's equivalent of saying the n bomb in front of a group of black people. how they react depends on the demon

demons hate devils, and devils love pissing demons off, this often results in fights between the two with devils despite their persistence ending up on the losing side

devils can only use magic through making a deal with a being with a soul, demons can use magic corresponding to their type
