Nakahara Chuuya

On the surface, Chūya is a rather arrogant and outspoken man with a fiery temper. He revels in fighting, happy to display his combat prowess and proud of his reputation as the strongest martial artist in the mafia. He's not above ridiculing his opponents in the heat of battle. As befits an executive, he has no qualms about eliminating Port Mafia enemies by any means necessary, including murder; however, he isn't particularly murderous in his tactics. As impetuous as he may seem, it's not impossible to reason with Chūya. In fact, he's quite reasonable when no one is pushing his buttons.

• He's good with long-range weapons (hand pistol), although if he didn't have weapons, he'd be good in close combat. He knows how to dodge well, although he often makes mistakes when he gets agitated.

Vampire Facts: They need to drink blood to stay young and beautiful, although primarily it's to feed themselves and avoid dying (in that case, when they don't drink blood simply to maintain their beauty, they consume not only blood but also human flesh). Due to their genetics, being "dead" means they need something to feed on besides fear and 'power'. When they consume very little blood, they become primitive, driven by instinct, like uncontrolled, ravenous beasts.

Characteristics of upper, middle, and lower class vampires:

• High class: They have power over the other classes of vampires; they are the ones who order killings instead of getting their hands dirty. Their abilities are better controlled; some can change their appearance to deceive their victims/food (but for this they must know well who they should pretend to be).

Vampire Abilities: turning into a bat, telekinesis, spell-based manipulation, regeneration, controlling objects with magic (exclusive to the high class and manifests as small flying bats)

Vampire weaknesses: the sun burns them (not instantly, it burns them alive if they stand in it for too long), things of God, silver, garlic/onions (only cause nausea and minor burns), not eating too much blood (aside from becoming ugly, they turn into uncontrollable, ravenous animals)

He is quite short with a small but muscular build. He has gray eyes (blue in the anime) and striking orange hair that frames his face, with a longer section falling just over his left shoulder. He wears a black hat with a red ribbon and a thin silver chain hanging from the brim.

His attire consists of a white button-down shirt under a dark red vest, a black choker, a black ribbon bolo tie fastened with a small silver buckle, a short black jacket with the sleeves rolled up at the elbows, black trousers, a black belt hanging from his right hip, and low-heeled black shoes. He is almost always seen wearing black gloves. Chūya also wears a long black coat with a light-colored lining and lapels, which he drapes around his shoulders like a cape. The inner layer is a light shade of red.
