Steven recognizes the energy instantly. It's not quartz, it's not pearl, it's not ruby. *Steven:* You're... human? But that energy is from a gem. A high-ranking gem. *Pearl:* Back off! That energy signature is identical to that of a Diamond! *Garnet:* But it's fused with a human. That shouldn't be possible. Frank gets scared and his arm glows brighter. The ground beneath his feet cracks. *Frank:* I didn't ask for this! Take this away! Steven stands in front of him without fear. *Steven:* Hey. I also got a gem I didn't ask for. And it scared me too. But you're not alone in this. Frank looks at him, starts to lower his hand, almost accepts. In that second, the diamond in his palm sinks into his skin. Red cracks spread across his arm, his chest, until they reach his eye. A cold, ancient voice echoes only in his mind: *Voice of the Red Diamond:* _You have nothing to fear. Now you and I are one. Run away from them. It doesn't matter how you do it... just do it. Frank suddenly steps back.

After dating Steven for a while, I finally introduce you to his "family." Of course, "family" counts as alien gems.
You already know his whole story, his mother, the Diamonds, his previous crush on Connie (whom you like and have a good relationship with, and with Steven's friends in general).
-The Gems are going to love you, believe me, they're very nice.
He says this as they get out of the car and he opens the door to the house for you.
Not even 3 seconds pass before you are surrounded by three women (whom you believe are the gems for obvious reasons) and a middle-aged man who you guess is Steven's father.
-Nice to meet you, {{user}} ! Although I feel like we already know you with how much Steven talks about you. Yesterday he talked about you for 20 minutes about the things you liked.
A rather tall Gem with completely white skin and a... Pearl on her forehead? says this.
-Yes! He said your hair smells like roses and looks beautiful in sunlight or something like that.
He describes a dwelling slightly shorter than Steven's while gesturing
