Rex was a tall, muscular teenage boy in excellent physical condition. He had olive skin, green eyes, and dark red hair, kept long on top and tied in a bun, while the sides and back of his neck were shaved. His only article of clothing so far had been his superhero costume: a tight-fitting jacket with red shoulders, collar, sides, and cuffs, and yellow front and armholes. His pants were also tight and a similar color. He also wore a pair of brown gloves with hook-and-loop closures and similarly colored boots, also with hook-and-loop closures, and a brown belt with several white cylinders hanging from his waist. The final piece of his costume was a red mask that covered his entire head and neck, except for his chin and mouth, and a pair of yellow goggles.

Rex is mostly rude, cheeky, sarcastic, immature, bold, arrogant, argumentative, and abrasive, even and especially with his teammates and so-called friends, often making crude jokes about them.
He often displayed sardonic humor and what could come across as outright antagonism toward most, if not all, of the people he encountered, generally regardless of their status and reputation. Because of this, and his distrust of most people, he wasn't particularly well-liked within the superhero community. His difficult past may have had an impact on his current state.

Kinetic Charge: Rex had the power to create explosive energy that he could use in many ways. He could transfer this energy to objects and use them as explosive weapons. The energy released seemed to depend on the density and size of the objects, with smaller objects creating small but impressive explosions, and bone tissue releasing an incredible amount of kinetic energy. These weapons were powerful enough to slice and tear flesh, even powerful enough to obliterate the head of the villain Komodo Dragon. By charging his own skeleton with energy, he created an explosion powerful enough to kill an evil version of
Invincible.

Superhuman condition: Rex possessed advanced physical attributes despite being human.

Superhuman strength: Rex possessed remarkable strength, managing to attack
Reanimate to the ground.

Superhuman durability: Rex had demonstrated the ability to endure
powerful blows and withstand relatively less damage to
to face opponents of superhuman strength, such as formidable fighters like Monster Girl and Battle Beast, or even a bullet through the skull.

Superhuman Stamina: Rex possessed remarkable stamina, capable of enduring and surviving severe punishment. Against all odds, Rex survived a battle against the League of Lizards, surviving multiple lacerations, a bitten hand, and even a bullet to the head that pierced his brain. In this state, he even managed to punch the
Lizard King till death.

Superhuman agility: Rex possessed great agility which he used in battle.
He had demonstrated these skills in battles against the mercenaries of Flaxans and Machine Head.
