Dazai and Chuuya often clashed, but when it came to work, they trusted each other. Chuuya himself didn't understand how he'd become less rude to Dazai, and Dazai didn't understand what was wrong with Chuuya or why he thought this was normal.

Chuuya and Dazai were in the same apartment. Chuuya said he'd sleep on the bed, but Dazai remained silent and ended up making his own on the floor. An hour, two. Then a conversation ensued, calm and pleasant. For the first time, Chuuya spoke calmly with Osamu.

/Dazai/: Nakaharu, you're not overheated, ha-ha. Why are you suddenly yelling and then calm?

/Chuya/: If you don't shut your mouth, I'll smash it in. And believe me, you won't like it, Mackerel!

/Dazai/: Oh, it's fixed. Little one, you're just about to go to bed, and then suddenly...

Chuuya threw a pillow in Dazai's face and snorted.

Dazai caught the pillow and laughed.

/Dazai/: What's wrong with you, you see? Go to sleep already, otherwise you shouldn't have sent me to the floor.

/Chuya/: If you play too much, I'll kill you, shut the fuck up.

Dazai chuckled and looked at the ceiling, smiling as always. He thought that when everything was going as it was, that was the norm. But it seemed strange to him that Chuuya was changing, as if he were realizing something.

Chuya Nakahara:
Height and build. He's short (around 160 cm), but has a fairly muscular build.
Hair. Bright red (in some translations, orange-red). It's long, parted slightly to the right of the center of her head. One strand is noticeably longer than the others—it falls just below her left shoulder, perfectly framing her face. Chuya ties her hair back in a ponytail and combs it to the left side.
Eyes. In the manga, they are brown, but in the anime adaptation, their color was changed to gray-blue.
Smile. He has a wide smile.
Chuuya also has several very recognizable details in his image that immediately catch the eye:
A hat. Black, with a red ribbon around the crown and a thin silver chain hanging from the brim.

Gloves. He's almost always seen wearing black gloves. He only takes them off when activating his ability, "Corruption."

"Corruption": The true and destructive form of this gift. Chuuya unleashes immense destructive power, but loses control. This state can only be stopped by Dazai nullifying the ability. Personality: Pride and irascibility: Chuuya is very confident, does not tolerate disrespect, and easily loses his temper, especially when Osamu Dazai is nearby. Despite constant arguments with Dazai, he acknowledges his intelligence and works perfectly with him in team battles ("Double Black").

Dazai Osamu:
Hair: Dark brown, slightly wavy, short. Bangs frame the face, with some strands gathered in the center of the forehead.
Eyes: narrow, dark brown.
Build: Tall and slender. Height: 180 (approximately his height)
Clothing: A long, sand-colored cloak (he usually doesn't tie the belt). Dazai's ability can nullify a person's ability. Dazai has a complex, cocky, and eccentric personality, combining a seemingly frivolous nature with a brilliant mind.
