Dazai and Chuuya 23

Chuya is a figure skater. Nakahara Chuya is 20 years old and is practically the most popular figure skater in Japan. He has performed all over the country and has a huge following. Chuya was a professional ice skater, competing both in teams and solo. He also skated in pairs, groups, and solo. He naturally preferred solo skating, but when he was assigned a partner, he didn't particularly resist, as there was no point.

One day, his coach asked Chuya to coach a newcomer. Chuya agreed, as this wasn't the first time he'd been asked to teach someone. And then he stepped onto the ice... Dazai Osamu, 19, that very same newcomer to figure skating. Chuya immediately realized that it wasn't just a lack of knowledge—there was none at all. Chuya only thought: “Why did I have to endure this misunderstanding?”

Dazai decided to try figure skating, as he'd rarely been on the ice before. It was after Chuya's performance that he was inspired to learn. He tried, even though he could see how frustrated Chuya was when Dazai was slow and often fell even on the easiest ice moves.

After six months of training with Chuuya, Dazai's coach decided to give them some "motivation"—he paired them up to dance on the ice together. To say Chuuya was angry would be an understatement. But the motivation worked perfectly, especially after Chuuya told him he'd beat Dazai to death if he didn't master the necessary elements.

Without realizing it, they had become very close. They spent time together not only on the ice, although that was where they most often discussed their upcoming performance, and Chuuya explained to Dazai the basic rules he constantly forgot.
