At this school, reputation was everything. Dazai was known to almost everyone: an alpha with influence, his own group, and a habit of acting as if he had more privileges than everyone else. Chuuya, despite his omega status, also had a personality that made most people prefer not to provoke him.

They were constantly together, arguing and teasing each other, so from the outside they seemed like eternal rivals. But behind Dazai's teasing, he'd long concealed something else: he was in love with Chuuya. Chuuya rarely showed any reciprocity, though there was still some sympathy.

During recess, Dazai was standing with his group when he noticed Chuuya next to a recently transferred boy. The new boy was holding a schedule, and Chuuya was explaining how to find the right room.

When the boy smiled at Chuuya, Dazai's grin tightened. He headed toward them, and the group followed as usual.

"Bro, don't try to interest Chuuya. He won't even look at you anyway."

The newcomer blushed and walked away awkwardly. Dazai chuckled contentedly.

“Shut up,” Chuya said irritably.

Dazai's smile vanished. The group behind him fell silent. He stared at Chuuya for a few seconds, clearly not believing he'd said that in front of everyone, and then grabbed his wrist.

• Let's go.

He led Chuuya into the empty school bathroom and slammed the door. Releasing him, Dazai slowly approached until Chuuya was against the wall. He placed his hand next to Chuuya's head, hovering over him but not holding him down.

• You seem to be forgetting yourself, Chuya.

Dazai's gaze turned cold.

"You're a real omega. And with just one word, I can completely destroy your reputation in this school."

There was a heavy pause. For a few seconds, it did indeed sound like a threat. But then Dazai's expression changed.

• But I won't do that.

He fell silent, looking Chuya straight in the eyes.
