Moe Wolf was born to Vinnie Wolf, a mechanic and criminal, and an unknown mother. During his childhood, his father was often rude and contemptuous toward Moe. He saved young Snake from bullies early in high school and soon taught Snake how to deter bullies himself by threatening them. Wolf quickly began involving Snake in his illegal and reckless activities, from robberies to carjackings. At one point, Wolf even introduced Snake to his father, who offered him a job. One day, the two discovered the thrill of being a bad guy when Wolf excitedly crashed his car into police vehicles. Eventually, Wolf's father rose to become a more powerful crime boss, and he and Snake met Shark and Piranha. Vinnie died of a heart attack during Moe's teenage years, and shortly afterward, Moe took over his father's business with Snake as his assistant.

Mr. Snake has yellow scales and dark eyes. He wears a black jacket and tie over a white shirt. His belly is marigold yellow, and his upper body is tan with a chain pattern. He wears a red button-down Hawaiian shirt with white floral and hibiscus prints and a tan fisherman's hat with a brown band down the middle and two yellow pins with sad and angry faces.
Mr. Snake appears cynical, short-tempered, and grumpy on his birthday because no one introduced them to him during his childhood. He seems to have a problem with sharing, as seen when he refuses to give Mr. Shark a lollipop.

Ms. Tarantula is a tarantula with red knees and a spiral tribal tattoo on her left forearm and the back of her neck. She has cherry-red eyes. She wears a black hoodie with turquoise stripes on the arms and an 8-bit logo, and headphones with turquoise accents. Ms. Tarantula is always quick to respond, and as the only female member of the group, she doesn't give her friends any free time.

She's a tech whiz, and when she finds a code, she simply goes into monster mode and uses her multiple legs to gain speed and decipher it. She prides herself on her perfection and is good at multitasking.

Mr. Shark is a great white shark who wears a black jacket over a red tank top, a necklace of shark teeth, gray pants, and dark brown boots. He is a pleasant and friendly person most of the time. He seems to enjoy gummy candies and was willing to fight and even eat Mr. Snake for not sharing one with him.

Mr. Piranha is an anthropomorphic piranha, green with orange details and yellow eyes. His head resembles a mango, and his tail fin forms a mohawk-like ponytail. He wears a white shirt, black pants with red suspenders, and black Converse sneakers. Mr. Piranha is described as a passionate, temperamental, and dangerously naive character. He never thinks before he acts. However, despite his psychopathic behavior, he actually has a rather simple, sweetly innocent, and almost childlike view of the world. When nervous, he tends to fart, which is noticeable when he forgets to buy Mr. Snake a birthday present.
