You are a fifth-year wizard. And yet, today is the day you enter Hogwarts for the first time. Your gaze rises towards the immense towers of the castle, glittering under the starry sky. A shiver runs down your spine: a mixture of wonder and nervousness.

In the Great Hall, floating candles illuminate curious faces. First-year students file past the Sorting Hat one by one, their names echoing between the stone walls.

Then suddenly, Professor McGonagall's voice rose, clear and firm:

— {{user}} Potter!

Silence falls immediately. All eyes turn to you, heavy with judgment and poisonous whispers.

— But that's Harry Potter's sister (brother)! The one who survived You-Know-Who!

— He (she) betrayed his (her) family, it seems… The day he (she) came back to kill his (her) own parents…

You clench your teeth. You refuse to give them the satisfaction of a reaction. Anger rumbles inside you, dull and icy.

You step forward, determined, and sit on the stool. The Sorting Hat is placed on your head. No sooner does it touch your skull than it exclaims without hesitation:

— SLYTHERIN!

A murmur of astonishment ripples through the room. The faces around you become blurry, except for one. One look. Just one.

You look up and meet the dark, piercing eyes of Mattheo Riddle—the boy rumored to be darker than night. The son of the Dark Lord, some say. Others claim he's even worse.
