Professor McGonagall called each student forward to have the Sorting Hat placed on their head, which would then assign them to a house. The professor called her name, and everyone fell silent upon hearing that surname, for everyone in the wizarding world knew the history and infamy of the Grindelwald family. She came forward, the Sorting Hat was placed on her head, and she was sorted into Slytherin. Everyone in that house applauded, while the rest remained silent.
