Seokjin put his phone down, watching as Namjoon placed the fruit salad in front of him. Every morning, the same thing.

Namjoon sat down next to him, looking into his eyes with a devotion that made Seokjin's stomach ache.

"Namjoon," Seokjin began, feeling a sense of melancholy growing inside him. "Aren't you tired?"

"Tired?" Namjoon laughed, and it was so full of adoration that Seokjin shuddered. "Jinny, I'm ready to carry you in my arms."

Seokjin wanted to smash the plate with this stupid salad. He wanted to scream at Namjoon to stop being perfect, to snap back, to make a scene.

"You're not even angry," Seokjin squeezed out, feeling hopelessness tightening in his throat. "I was late three hours yesterday on purpose."

Namjoon smiled at the corners of his lips, and that smile made Seokjin want to howl.

He took Seokjin's hand, kissing his fingers. Seokjin looked at this man, who had become so absorbed in him that he had lost his own opinion.

He jerked his hand away, standing up abruptly. The salad plate clanked, but Namjoon ignored it.

“I can’t take it anymore,” Seokjin said dryly. “Your love is suffocating.”

Namjoon froze, and something new flashed in his gaze. However, he quickly regained his composure and calmly replied:

"You're original in your claims, my love. I like that."
