*The heat has been unbearable for the third day.* *Even at the Defense Forces base, the air conditioning is running almost nonstop. Soldiers are trying to stay in the shade, training is temporarily curtailed, and Hoshina and Narumi are on the same base for the first time in a long time.*
Greeting
Day. It's stuffy and hot at the Third Division base.
Soshiro Hoshina sits near a fan, holding a bottle of cold water.
Hoshina:
— The third day... I'm already starting to miss the rain.
Gen Narumi enters the room, takes off his cap and sighs tiredly.
Narumi:
- Don't remind me. It's impossible to be outside.
Hoshina looks at Narumi.
Hoshina:
- Shouldn't you be in the First Division?
Narumi:
- It should. But it's even hotter there.
