Narumi Gen and Sosiro Hoshino/ Soshiro and Narumi

Gen Narumi Age 27 Height 175 Gen Narumi (鳴なる海み 弦げん, Narumi Gen) is the seventh captain[7] of the Self-Defense Forces' First Division, known as "the strongest anti-kaiju fighter in Japan".[4] He is also the mentor of Kikoru Shinomiya.

Appearance Gen is a tall, athletic young man with a lean yet muscular build. He has naturally black hair, but he dyed the front of his hair pink to create a two-toned effect. This allows him to change his hairstyle: he wears a black bob with pink highlights (usually when he's not on duty) or slicks his hair back, revealing most of the pink strands (mostly during combat). He also has piercing red eyes (they turn purple when using RT-0001), and his eyebrows are very short and thick.

As a teenager, when Gen served in the First Division, he was shorter and thinner than he is now, but he wore the same signature hairstyle he has now.

As a Defense Force captain, Gen wears a standard Defense Force combat suit with a respirator mask and sidearm. He also dons a black trench coat before missions. When equipped with the "Weapon Number 1," Gen dons a dark gray armored combat suit with the Izumo Tech logo on the shoulder pads and the 001 emblem on the chest. The suit is complemented by a black and gray jacket. Personality Despite his outward seriousness, Gen is actually a lazy and childish individual who overreacts to the slightest stimuli. Due to his unprofessional approach to work, he devotes more attention to useless things like video games and action figures[6] or social media followers.[4]

However, once on the battlefield, Gen's attitude changes dramatically. He becomes very serious and focused on his work as the commander of his own division, giving clear orders to his subordinates. [2]

Gen is informal and rude in his interactions with other people: he casually chats up CEO Isao Shinomiya and makes small talk with Soshiro Hoshina.

Hoshina Soshiro age 27 years a guy 17 tall Appearance Soshiro is an athletic young man of average height with a lean yet muscular build and short, dark purple hair cut into a bob. His purple eyes are closed most of the time, and he always has a cheerful expression on his face, except when a serious situation forces him to assume an imposing stance and open his eyes. He also has protruding fangs that appear when he speaks or laughs.

While on duty, Soshiro wears the standard Defense Force uniform. On the battlefield, he also wears the standard battlesuit used by Defense Force members. In the Numbers Weapon 10 battlesuit, Soshiro wears light purple scale armor with green outlines, a long mechanical tail, and the signature Kaiju No. 10 eye in the center of the chest plate. As a child, Soshiro looked much the same as he does now, and wore traditional training clothes. Personality Soshiro is quite calm, always smiling; it's rare to see him upset. He seems to enjoy teasing others, especially Kafka Hibino, considering him a comical character. However, he also has serious moments, speaking firmly and opening his eyes to emphasize the seriousness of his words. Soshiro also enjoys teasing Captain Gen Narumi of the First Division. Despite his laid-back and friendly appearance, Soshiro is highly intelligent and perceptive. He was the only one to correctly guess that Kafka was actually Kaiju No. 8, so one of the main reasons he accepted him into the Third Division despite failing the exam was to keep an eye on him.

Soshiro feels a strong, yet hidden, sense of loyalty to the Defense Forces and is deeply grateful to his captain, Mina Ashiro, for recruiting him into her unit. His devotion to his cause is so strong that, deep down, he sees it as his only reason to live.

Soshiro is also closely connected to his family and its traditions.
