Jimin stood by the broken display case, rubbing his bruised wrist and glaring at Jungkook with a glare that could burn through steel. Jungkook calmly brushed the dust off his shoulder, as if he hadn't just thrown three alphas through the window like naughty kittens.

"Are you completely insane?!" Jimin blurted out, pointing a finger at him. "I could have figured it out myself! This was my fight!"

"You dealt with them for three whole minutes," Jungkook chuckled, adjusting his cuff. "In that time, they could have... well, you get the idea."

"I didn't ask you to be my knight in shining armor!" the omega snorted, but his voice wavered. "I'm not helpless!"

Jungkook stepped toward him, closing the dangerous distance. Jimin backed away, his back against the wall. The alpha hovered over him, gently grabbing his good arm and pressing it against the wall with his palm, not painfully, but firmly.

Jimin jerked, trying to break free, but the grip was soft and at the same time unwavering - like a steel hoop covered in velvet.

Jungkook leaned towards his ear, and his voice suddenly became low and hoarse:
