On the surface, Fukuchi appears eccentric, boastful, and vulgar, proud of the skills of his "Bugs" squad. However, in serious situations, he proves himself to be a decisive and charismatic leader.
Kamui's true personality is darker and more serious. In this guise, Fukuchi expresses bitterness about aging, admits that drinking was his way of relieving stress, and hates his hair getting thinner. He acts like a ruthless soldier, but also adheres to a peculiar "code of honor."
Ability
"Lion Dance" (鏡獅子, Kagami Jishi) is Fukuchi's ability, which allows him to amplify any weapon he wields by 100 times its original power. In his hands, the weapon can transcend space and time, striking into the past within ten seconds.

In casual attire, he wears a long, baggy white V-neck shirt with a black hem, the rolled-up left sleeve concealed. The shirt is partially covered by a military-style green jacket with beige fur trim around the collar. Underneath the jacket is a belt for two pistols. He also wears dark blue pants, brown boots, and a black sash on his left wrist. As a member of the Bloodhounds, he wears the standard cape and hat, as well as his late brother's dog tag.
Role in the plot
Michizu Tachihara is the fifth member of the special squad "Snoops," working undercover as a mafia member in the Port Mafia and serving as a lieutenant in the Black Lizard Battalion. He later becomes a double spy: under orders from Ogai Mori, he monitors the mafia, but his true target is a doctor from the Armed Detective Agency.

At first glance, Tachihara is an arrogant, impulsive, and reckless man who resolves problems with brute force and two pistols. His violent temper often leads to conflicts with other mafiosi.
However, behind his tough exterior lies a more complex personality. He is capable of rational thought, quickly recognizes danger, and understands how to deal with the enemy. At the same time, he values ​​orders and tries to dissuade his colleagues from actions that contradict the will of his superiors.
Ability
His ability is called "Midwinter Memento" (真冬のかたみ, Midwinter Memento). It grants him ferrokinesis—the ability to remotely manipulate any metal object. He primarily uses it to control his pistols and the "Hunting Dog" blade, which can hover in midair. Teruko noted that this ability is useful for theft, information alteration, and assassination, making Tachihara "born to be a spy."

Character
Teruko is a vibrant and controversial personality. She's energetic, boastful, and clearly relishes her power within the squad. She's also quick-tempered: she easily intimidates those who dare to cross her, often threatening brutal reprisals. In combat, she's aggressive and unafraid to engage in combat even with serious injuries, considering it an act of "heroism."
At the same time, she has a strong obsession with Commander Ochi Fukuchi - she perceives every word or action of his as ideal.
Ability
Her ability is called "Heartbreaker" (魂の喘ぎ, Tamashi no Egidi), and it allows Teruko to manipulate the age of anyone she touches.
In practice, Teruko most often uses this power for interrogation and torture: she rapidly ages the victim, inducing illnesses common in old age, and then just as quickly returns them to a younger state. This sudden age jump creates intense psychological pressure and causes psychological damage.
But the ability also works the other way: Teruko can use it on herself to change her physical age, for example, for camouflage or to become physically stronger.

Personality
Compared to other characters, Tette has a more serious personality, but he still remains eccentric. For example, he can mix foods of the same color and eat them, watch an ant colony for eight hours straight, or exercise even during meetings.
As a member of the Hounds, Tette takes his job seriously and advocates for justice. He appears to be the least cruel of his colleagues, expressing distaste for those who torment others during investigations.
He possesses physical strength and is considered the strongest swordsman among the "Hunters." He also possesses a knack for negotiation during interrogations, preferring communication over force.
Ability
"Plum Blossom in the Snow" (雪中梅, Setchūbai) is an ability that allows Tetta to increase the size, shape, and length of his blade. However, it is unknown whether he can do this with weapons other than his saber.

Saigiku is a young man of average height with light hair that has dark tips. He is blind, so his eyes are always closed, and a kind smile usually plays across his face. He wears an earring in his right ear. He is usually dressed in the standard uniform of the Bloodhound Squad: a cap, suit, cloak, and a saber-like sword.
Personality
Despite his blindness, Saigiko compensates with heightened senses: incredible hearing, a sense of smell, and the ability to "feel" bodily processes in others (sweating, body temperature, muscle sounds, heartbeat, breathing). He is intelligent, possesses investigative skills, and dislikes sudden mood swings or intense emotions in others.
He appears gentle and kind on the surface, but this facade conceals a ferocious nature. He respects Commander Ochi Fukuchi, but asks him not to act rashly, lest he upset the team. Saigikou enjoys teasing Tette Suehiro, criticizing his fighting stances and actions, and often complains that the rest of the squad doesn't listen to his advice. However, during interrogations, he displays a brutality, torturing his targets to extract the information he needs.
Ability
His ability is called "Golden Tears" (Senkin no Namida). It allows Saigik to manipulate his own body, disintegrating it into particles. In this state, he can slip through small spaces (air conditioners, doorways) to avoid attacks, and also "disperse" body parts during combat. Furthermore, this ability allows him to sneak into closed, moving vehicles through cracks undetected.
However, the ability has its weaknesses:
It does not make it completely intangible - the solid form or distant particles of the body can still be damaged (for example, by heating).
Any path it can take in an altered form can be blocked.
