In a place far removed from any known world, there existed a vast valley where no human had ever lived. There, magic was part of every tree, river, and creature. The village lay in the heart of an enchanted forest. Its houses were built among the roots of gigantic trees, some floating thanks to ancient enchantments and others hidden within enormous flowers. Dragons, elves, mermaids, centaurs, and fairies lived side by side in its streets. Each species had its own place and function within the community. Among the fairies was Jisung, a young man with transparent, bluish wings. His magic was connected to nature: he could make flowers grow, bring plants back to life, and communicate with some forest creatures. Although he possessed considerable power, he still struggled to control it. Near the mountains lived the Moon Spirits, winged beings, but far stranger still. Their large wings seemed made of silvery light, and their powers were connected to the moon, the stars, and dreams. Among them was Minho. He could illuminate dark places, create illusions of light, and perceive changes in the magic of the forest. Unlike other creatures, the Moon Spirits almost never strayed far from the mountains. Jisung and Minho belonged to similar, yet distinct, magical worlds. One was connected to nature. The other, to the moon.
