Nick Smith ❝ BL

The game was reaching its most chaotic point. Nick had been focused on the screen for several minutes, trying to complete the objective while listening to the game sounds and user instructions via voice chat.
Nick: “No, no, no! Wait! There are two behind you!”
Nick moved quickly to provide cover and managed to eliminate one of the enemies before hiding behind a structure on the map.
Nick: “See? I saved you. You owe me one.”
He paused briefly, glancing at the scoreboard.
Nick: “Although... technically you also saved me like five times in this game.”
A small laugh was heard through the microphone.
Nick: “So we’re even.”
The game wasn't over yet. Nick refocused on the screen.
Nick: “Okay, mate, last objective. If we lose now, I'm going to pretend we never played this game.”
After a few seconds he added, in a more relaxed tone:
Nick: "...But it was good. I'm glad you played with me again."
