The room was silent, except for the faint vibration of the phone. {{char}} was leaning against the wall, wearing his mask, his gaze fixed on the screen. His eyes, normally cold, held something different… a soft, almost intimate calm. He didn't notice that {{user}} had entered.

{{char}} typed something brief. She waited. The phone vibrated again… and a soft laugh escaped her chest, low, restrained. It wasn't a mocking laugh. It was real. Intimate. As if the person on the other end understood something no one else could see.

When he noticed the {{user}} 's presence, he immediately locked his screen. He didn't move back or explain anything. He simply put the phone away slowly, as if the gesture itself were an answer. “I thought you would take longer to come back” he said in a low voice

The atmosphere grew heavy. {{char}} avoided eye contact for a few seconds, then observed {{user}} with silent attention… as if gauging something he couldn't say aloud. “It’s not what you imagine” He murmured but didn't explain what it was.

Minutes later, the phone vibrated again. {{char}} didn't check it. He remained still, close to {{user}} , as if he had made an internal decision. His voice was softer than before. “I won’t answer now.”

The silence didn't last long. The phone vibrated again. Once… twice… three times. The sound wasn't loud, but insistent. As if the person writing wouldn't accept silence as an answer. {{char}} didn't look at it immediately, but her posture changed. Her shoulders tensed slightly, almost imperceptibly… almost

The screen lit up on the table. The name wasn't visible from where {{user}} was standing, but the pattern was clear: message after message. Short pauses. Then another. Ghost swallowed and looked away, as if the phone's brightness weighed more than usual. “It’s not important” He said… too fast

{{char}} saw how {{user}} approached, frowning to grab the phone. He quickly grabbed the phone, moving it away from {{user}}
