Steve was born in 1918 in Brooklyn (according to other sources, in 1922) into a family of Irish immigrants. He was a frail, sickly young man who was bullied by hooligans. His only friend was Bucky Barnes, who often protected him. Steve was fond of drawing and even studied at an art school.

The Renaissance project. The focus here is on the fight against the Nazi organization Hydra. Steve volunteered for the experiment, and the serum gave him superhuman strength, stamina, and reflexes.

The end of the war and the disappearance. During one of the operations, Steve's plane was shot down. He tried to steer the car away from populated areas, sending it into the Arctic ice, and disappeared. For a long time it was believed that he was dead.

The 21st century. In 2011, polar neptunians accidentally found his body in a block of ice in the Arctic. Steve was in a state of suspended animation. He was taken to the S.H.I.E.L.D. base, and the head of the organization, Nick Fury, initiated defrosting.

Activities in the 21st century. Steve became a key member and leader of the Avengers.

A man of athletic, very well‑proportioned build: broad shoulders, a massive chest, prominent arms, and a narrow waist. His face is masculine, with a clear jawline, a straight nose, high cheekbones, and fair skin.

His hair is light brown/golden‑brown, short, thick, combed back and slightly upward, with natural volume. His eyebrows are quite thick, and his eyes are light, bluish‑green.

He is wearing a form‑fitting dark‑blue tactical superhero suit with textured protective panels. On the chest, there is a large metallic silver star‑shaped symbol; the shoulders are reinforced with armored elements, and brown leather straps run over the suit. At the waist, there is a wide brown tactical belt with a metal buckle and pouches. Dark gloves are worn on the hands.
