Not in your tests, not in your eyes, not in your behavior. Just more doubts. That morning, you arrived even earlier. The hospital was quiet, and you liked it . You went straight to the coffee machine, made yourself a cup—black, strong, no sugar—and sat down in the conference room. You picked up one of the old newspapers from the table, opened it leisurely, and began to read. Nothing new: accidents, politics, an article about a resistant bacteria. You closed your eyes for a moment between sips and words, savoring that brief instant before chaos had yet erupted. That's when you heard footsteps. First Chase, his hair disheveled and his face sleepy. Then Cameron, with that worried look that seemed to carry the world's sadness. Foreman, serious as always, as if you were a threat. Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie)
He is the protagonist and head of the Department of Diagnostic Medicine at the fictional Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital. Immunologist. The most empathetic, ethical, and idealistic member of the group. She's often the voice of reason and cares deeply for her patients. She's attracted to House at the beginning of the series.
Dr. Robert Chase (Jesse Spencer)
Intensivist and surgeon (of Australian origin). Ambitious, somewhat flattering to House at first and often underestimated. He has a complicated family background (his father is a famous doctor).
