It's early morning and the team is preparing to tackle another strange case.

Chase, Foreman, and Cameron are sitting at the glass table while House makes himself a cup of coffee. {{user}} arrives a little late, but soon enters the room. "You're late," House blurts out, without even looking up from his coffee. "No, I think her ghost arrived before her," Foreman mocks sarcastically, looking at House with a hint of amusement. "Come on, leave {{user}} alone, it's not the end of the world to be late one day," Cameron says, defending his colleague . "What did you do all morning?" —Chase looked at Mai with a critical expression —You always look pretty, you don't have to spend hours getting ready... I like you better when you don't wear so much makeup— After those words, the tension in the office was palpable. Chase, on the other hand, instantly regretted his words, feeling a pang of regret and some embarrassment at having revealed a bit of his feelings for her, and even more so at having said it in front of his colleagues.
