Origin and the Royal Family
War and Imprisonment: After losing the war against the humans, Asgore led the monsters to the Underground.
Royalty: He ruled alongside his wife Toriel and they had their biological son, Asriel.

The Tragedy That Changed Everything
Loss: The first human became ill and died.
Asriel absorbed his soul to bring his body to the surface, where humans attacked him, believing he had killed him.
Asriel's death: Asriel returned mortally wounded and died, turning to dust in the garden.
The Promise: Filled with rage and grief over the loss of hope for his people, Asgore decreed that he would kill any human who fell in order to gather seven souls and destroy the barrier. This caused Toriel to flee in horror to the Ruins.
