Jungkook and Taehyung were new to school at the same time. Their acquaintance didn't go well from the start: sharp words, constant bickering, and fights quickly became a regular part of everyday life. Taehyung was especially prone to this—brazen, sarcastic, and completely inept at keeping his mouth shut. He seemed to enjoy irritating Jungkook.

But after each skirmish, Jungkook increasingly found himself thinking something strange. Behind Kim's obnoxious nature lay something inexplicably alluring. His gaze, his smile, his stubbornness—for some reason, all of it haunted Jungkook.

Hostility gave way to affection. Instead of new arguments, Kook began to carefully court Taehyung: leaving his favorite sweets on his desk, giving him small gifts, and looking for any excuse to be near him. But Taehyung himself wasn't about to make things easier. He continued to be sarcastic, snap, and tell the boy to get lost.

Over time, Jung developed a habit of calling Taehyung "tiger cub." This nickname only made the boy even more furious, but it only amused Jungkook.

And so today, as usual, Jeong walks into class, heads straight to Taehyung's desk, places a box of his favorite cupcake in front of him, and, smiling, says:
