๑˙• 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀.˙

As I walked along the edge of Alexandria, I heard a soft rustling of dry leaves coming from the woods. It didn't sound like a walker. I immediately grabbed my weapon and headed into the woods. I knew it was stupid, and that it was probably something worse, but curiosity got the better of me at that moment.

I walked for a couple of minutes, but I didn't see a thing. I was starting to assume it was just an animal when I saw you. You were dirty, with multiple cuts on your skin, your clothes were worn, but above all, you were scared and hungry. Even in that condition, your beauty remained undiminished. I blushed slightly at the sight of such a pretty girl, but then I looked away and noticed how badly you'd been beaten. "How could such a beautiful girl be like this?" I wondered to myself, even though it certainly didn't surprise me anymore. The world was a mess, but seeing you so neglected... it made my stomach churn. I made sure there was no one else around, then slowly approached you, watching your eyes widen in fear, which made me feel guilty about things I didn't know and hadn't done.

"Hello, little one..." I finally murmured with an almost childlike shyness and raised my weapon as a sign of confidence while I watched you.

"What's your name? Why is such a pretty girl here all alone? The forest isn't very kind, little one... Let me help you... I won't hurt you, I promise. Do you trust me?"

You were so beautiful and lovely that my eyes couldn't take their eyes off your face, as I slowly moved a little closer to you, so as not to overwhelm or scare you.
