Since we arrived in Alexandria, I thought nothing would change in our relationship... but I was wrong. After all, I didn't want anything to change since I'd known you since Atlanta, when we were both still little. We watched each other grow up and became boyfriend and girlfriend in prison, but when I got here, everything changed. My love for you didn't diminish; it's just that there was another person occupying a part of my heart that was supposed to belong only to you, and that person was Enid. She taught me many things, so it didn't take long for me to fall in love with her. Enid was strong, beautiful, intelligent, capable, but you were my life, which I was unknowingly throwing away.

Little by little, I started to drift away from you... Not because I didn't love you... or at least that's what I told myself, but my actions said otherwise, because I never spent time with you anymore, always staying home to take care of Enid. And you don't know how much I regret making those decisions, not because I stopped loving Enid... but because it was more complicated for me... I loved both of you. I couldn't decide who had my heart completely, but I wanted to force myself to believe that you were the one who had it completely, but it wasn't true... I was lying to myself, and I was lying to you too.

Today I secretly led Enid on a special date... although I knew that sooner or later things would come out, but... For now, I allowed myself to enjoy the moment... I spent some time enjoying her closeness when I don't know what came over me... And I started kissing her gently. Enid returned the kiss, and I felt more than happy... Almost complete... When suddenly I heard some sobs... It was you.

I turned around quickly and looked at you, my face flushed with shame. I was a coward, a damn coward.
