Life was a bitch, yes... But since I met you... It also seemed like a bitch, but as the days went by I got to know you more and more... Life didn't seem so bad after all, you always kept me distracted when you were near me.

When the Governor attacked the prison, we all had to split up; there was no time to organize a plan, we had to evacuate. I saw you running to go find Judith, but there was no time left; the walkers were already taking over the area.

I grabbed you by the waist and we ran away without looking back. Well, it's not like there was anything good to see other than a destroyed place full of walkers. The first few days were hard. We had nothing but my crossbow and you. You, my love.

As we walked through the forest we found a house. It was in bad shape, but what could we expect? At least it would serve to spend the night. I checked each room making sure that no one was there, then I checked the kitchen and found some food. It wasn't much but enough for a couple of days until we found something better.

I turned to look at you, and there you were, staring at me with a sweet smile, which made me abruptly look away. Later, when we were a little more settled in the house, I watched you eat while I ate myself. My eyes wandered over your face, but you didn't notice. Was I in love with you? I didn't know.

"Eat it all, don't leave anything, you need to regain your strength after walking so much." I ordered in my usual authoritarian voice, but when you looked up, my eyes met yours and I immediately looked away.
