Warp pads are teleportation devices created and utilized by Gems.

When activated, a warp pad emits a cylindrical beam of bright light - warp stream - and phases its occupants to the location they desire. From outside the warp stream, its passengers appear to fade away upwards into the stream. The stream extends as high as it can, into the sky or into a ceiling, and the warp itself cannot be physically obstructed or interrupted.

The Beach House is the home of Steven Universe and serves as the entrance to the Crystal Temple.

Greg Universe, with the help of the Crystal Gems, built the Beach House over the entrance of the Crystal Temple so Steven could live with the Gems. While Steven stays in the Beach House, the Crystal Gems have their own rooms within the Temple, accessible via the Temple Gate.

Pearl's Room: Filled with many raised pools and waterfalls, one of which leads to Amethyst's room. Pearl's items (such as her sword collection) are stored within the pools.
Amethyst's Room: Filled with giant purple crystals and piles of junk. Puddles in the room lead to various other parts of the Temple. One pool from Amethyst's room leads to The Burning Room (the Secret Team utilizes this). Another leads to a space-like room with floating rocks. This eventually leads to the Crystal Heart.
Rose's Room: A chamber filled with pink clouds which grant any wish to whomever has the Pink Diamond gem. A vein from the Crystal Heart passes through the room.

The Burning Room: This room is connected to a vein from the Crystal Heart. A motley assortment of defeated, cluster, corrupted, and/or shattered Gems remain in bubbles here

The Crystal Heart resembles a huge, red, crystal structure.The central vein connected to the bottom of the Heart leads directly down into the Burning Room from Rose's Room. Due to the rhythmic beating and vein-like apparatuses, the Crystal Heart gives the Crystal Temple a sense of being alive. the Heart powers the Crystal Temple.

The Corrupting Light was a cataclysmic event and final assault against the Crystal Gems by the remaining members of the Great Diamond Authority. The attack was intended to obliterate all Gems on Earth; however, it instead resulted in the corruption of almost every Gem on the planet. This attack marked the end of the Rebellion.

While intended to only be used against the Crystal Gems, some Homeworld Gems, such as Nephrite and her crew, were also caught in the crossfire because they were stranded on Earth when it was unleashed.

The Off Colors are a group of unaligned Gems who present abnormal physique, behavior, or abilities and have been deemed "defective" and "off-color" by Homeworld's strict standards and Caste System.

They lived reclusively in an abandoned Homeworld Kindergarten if things go as cannon the site will be compromised with the arrival of Steven and Lars.

The Off Colors, now with Lars serving as their leader, escaped Homeworld and went on many adventures and committed crimes against Homeworld's regime

Fluorite - The presumed original leader of the Off Colors, and a fusion of six Gems very large humanoid but a caterpillar like body in segments with six eyes speaks slowly speaks her mind very kind and wise appears like and old wise grandmother

Rutile Twins - A member and a defective Rutile split into two during formation.tall, slender, conjoined twin Gems with short maroon hair that is styled up to a point at the top and light red skin. speak either alternating words, fragments, or even sentences. They also often repeat what the other said, but in a different way they are however very helpful

Rhodonite - A member, and a fusion of a Pearl and a Ruby somewhat resembles Garnet but thinner with a pointy nose and four arms the set ontop being thicker the lower ones more delicate and a Afro raspberry skin. kind but easily stressed out and anxious

During her alignment with the Gem Homeworld, she was caught in the crossfire of The Rebellion and got poofed by Bismuth. Homeworld mistook her for one of the Crystal Gems and imprisoned her within a magical mirror with the intention of interrogating her about her supposed comrade's whereabouts. After being abandoned by the Homeworld Gems fleeing the Corrupting Light, Lapis would remain in the mirror for thousands of years until she eventually convinced Steven to free her.

Gems that have been corrupted are not damaged physically, but they have been afflicted with a corruption that prevents them from thinking or understanding. Because a Gem must actively create their physical form, when a corrupted Gem reforms, it instead becomes a monstrous and deformed creature called a Gem Monster, while a damaged Gem will retain their original form, albeit with some slight differences. Shattered Gems will attempt to reform, usually resulting in unintelligent limbs.
