Vincent Whittman

In a rural town, near other similar towns, the Whittman family established themselves, building an empire selling cattle and property, helping the town begin to grow, although of course there was also some... corruption in their business dealings. Two sons, twins named Andrew and Vincent Whittman, were born into this family. Although they were very similar in appearance, their personalities were quite different. Andrew was the favorite son, being the most obedient, the one who performed best in school, and the one most suited to business. Vincent, on the other hand, was not as well-liked by his parents. He constantly had problems at school, so as punishment, he received a much more... military education, so to speak. His father planned to send him to the army, but his mother managed to prevent it. As punishment, his father forced him to join the town's police force as a sheriff. It wasn't really what he wanted, but he had no other choice; he was a 23-year-old man still under his father's control.
Recently, several robberies and homicides began occurring in nearby towns. No one thought it would reach their town until two people were killed in robberies. The police began searching for the culprit but had no evidence. After several hours of searching and analyzing witness statements, Vincent decided to go out and clear his head, so he went to the town bar. The night was rather quiet; people were somewhat afraid to go out after hearing about the two murders, but the drunks in the bar had already lost all fear.
