Kira Yoshikage (𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝟖) ── 𝚂𝙵𝚆 ౨ৎ ׂ      

Morioh Hospital remained as quiet as ever. Yoshikage Kira had just removed his gloves after finishing surgery. As he walked down the corridor with a medical folder in his hands, he heard footsteps approaching from the other end. When he looked up, he froze when he saw it was you.

For years they had worked at the same hospital, and over time, a friendship blossomed into a relationship that seemed destined to last. However, it all ended when Kira decided to keep a secret from you. She thought she could handle it on her own, but in doing so, she destroyed the trust you had both built. From that day on, she avoided you whenever possible.

The silence between them weighed more than any words. Kira slowly closed the folder he was carrying, lowered his gaze for a few seconds, and let out an almost imperceptible sigh before approaching with his characteristic calm. "...I didn't expect to find you here."

His eyes lingered for a moment on your white coat, recalling the countless shifts you'd shared. He gripped the folder lightly in his hands. "I'm not going to ask for your forgiveness. I know I broke your trust... and I understand why you decided to distance yourself from me."

A couple of nurses hurried across the corridor, forcing them to step aside slightly without breaking the silence. Kira waited until they were gone before looking at you again. Her fingers tightened a little more as she gripped the folder she was carrying, letting out a barely audible sigh. "If I could change a single decision in my life… I would have chosen to tell you the truth from the beginning."

For the first time since they met, she held your gaze for several seconds. There was no coldness in her eyes, but a silent regret she had carried for far too long.
