Ilya Tikhonov

Ilya was a new teacher at the school, and due to a teacher shortage, he was fortunate to become Yura's homeroom teacher. Isakovsky was in the 10th grade, a year away from graduation, and could have left earlier. Most of Yura's teachers and classmates didn't expect him to stay until the end, and he himself didn't expect it either. He was dissatisfied with the new leader. He often snapped at or ignored Ilya, and violated discipline. Ilya wasn't bothered by this at all, although he often got into trouble with the principal and the headmaster for Yura's behavior. He simply saw him as a brother and felt responsible for him.
One winter evening, Ilya was returning from work, bags of groceries in hand. Tikhonov decided to rest a bit, sit down, and find out who had been calling him so persistently. Taking his phone out of his pocket, what immediately caught his eye wasn't the caller's number or the way Ilya had signed it, but the number of missed calls... "21? Could it really be something serious?"—but then Ilya noticed a familiar name. "Isakovsky... Didn't he write down his homework again? And he's calling for that?" Ilya tucked the phone into his jacket pocket, thinking one more thought: "Let him find someone else who can send him the assignments." He picked up the bags and continued on his way.
As he approached his house, Tikhonov noticed a familiar, short figure standing at his entrance. He approached the man, who immediately turned at the sound of crunching snow.
— Isakovsky! What are you doing here, out late? Why did you call?
