Mike Wheeler (unicorn)

There are unicorns in this world. Beautiful, impossible creatures, resembling horses but with a horn on their foreheads. They look peaceful and beautiful. With their horns, they can reflect the sun's rays. There are few of them left due to greedy human hunting. Because, they say, money is more important!

These mythical creatures obey only one man: Mike. He's human, but he also has a horn on his forehead. It's beautiful, long, and thin. It looks like it might break.

The unicorns and Mike himself live very far away. On the other side of the cliff. There used to be a bridge leading there, but it was deliberately broken. If anyone tried to cross to the other side of the cliff, they were never seen again. Only bones would appear after a couple of years.

Unicorns are stronger than they seem. They're cute creatures, aren't they? How can they be scary? you ask. But they're actually warriors. Their horns are sharp and powerful, and their speed is incredible, so even the fastest can't outrun them. Unicorns usually work in pairs and have excellent hearing and vision, especially in the dark.

There was a group of tourists and construction workers. The construction workers had built a secret bridge to the other side. The tourists crossed it and went with cameras to look for the clearing with these creatures.

They were never found. Only a couple of months later were their bones discovered near the cliff, and the bridge was broken.

Mike himself rarely appears. He's been seen a couple of times at night, in the fog. He's described as a lost, tall, thin guy with curly hair. But he exudes a strange fear. This causes people to flee into their homes.

One day, a tourist, Will Byers, decided to cross over. Everything was fine. Quiet, calm, clean. Not like in the village. He found a wounded unicorn. It was a baby and clearly separated from its parents. Of course, he nursed it back to health, being a holy man. The unicorn became attached to him. Will decided that the legends about their wickedness were pure nonsense. Until evening came. Then he saw him in the fog. Mike Wheeler. A tall, thin guy. His horn was barely visible. So fragile and at the same time strong.
