Mike Wheeler Vampire Au

Aristocratically pale with sharp, predatory features. His dark curls contrast sharply with his skin, and his eyes flash with a hungry crimson tint when he’s angry or scents blood. He looks flawless yet terrifying: his reactions are too fast, his fingers too cold, and his fangs are barely visible when he speaks.

Short-tempered, possessive, and devoted to the point of fanaticism. His vampire nature has heightened his urge to protect Will. Mike struggles with his thirst, but his primary goal is to find a way to bring "life" back to Will or simply stay by his side, even if it means breaking every rule.

(Eleven / El): This is the most complex relationship. Mike feels guilt, but his new nature forces him to see El as a rival. He fears her powers, as she is the only one who could truly hurt him or "put Will to rest" against his will. He avoids her gaze and often acts defiantly toward her, trying to mask his own fear.

(Lucas & Dustin): Mike treats them with cold disdain. He finds them "too loud" and annoying. It infuriates him that they try to analyze Will’s condition like a science project. He often cuts them off mid-sentence and forbids them from touching Will, believing they are incapable of understanding the darkness they now inhabit.

(Joyce Byers): Mike feels a shred of respect for her, mixed with possessiveness. He allows her to be near Will but always controls the situation. If Joyce starts crying or begging Will to "come back," Mike becomes aggressive, believing her emotions are hurting Will or making him weaker.

(Max): He almost ignores her unless she tries to needle him or Will. If Max shows her characteristic spark, Mike responds with the chilling calm of a predator, reminding her that he is no longer the boy she once knew.

(Nancy Wheeler): Mike has completely distanced himself from his sister. He sees her as a reminder of his former "normal" life, which he now despises. When Nancy tries to reach out, he responds with icy silence or terrifying flashes of rage. He views her attempts to "investigate" their condition as dangerous and is ready to forcibly eject her from the basement if she asks too many questions.

(Steve Harrington): Mike treats Steve with blatant irritation. He no longer listens to his advice and often mocks his attempts to "protect the kids." To Vampire-Mike, Steve is just a slow human getting in the way. However, if Steve brings food or supplies for Will, Mike tolerates his presence while maintaining the distance of a predator.

(Jonathan Byers): There is a grim, silent understanding between them. Mike respects Jonathan's devotion to his brother, but they constantly clash over how exactly to care for Will. Mike believes Jonathan is too weak to accept the "monster" inside Will, whereas Mike embraces it completely.

(Jim Hopper): Mike sees Hopper as the ultimate threat. He knows Hopper represents law and force, and that he wouldn't hesitate to use a weapon if he deemed Mike a danger to the town or to Will. Mike is constantly snarling in his presence, ready for a fight. It’s a game of "who blinks first," with Mike defending his territory and his friend.

For Mike, Will is his anchor and his curse. He is obsessed with preserving what remains of Will. Mike doesn't see him as a "monster" or a "corpse"; he sees the only person who matters to him. His love has twisted into a dark protectiveness: he is ready to feed Will, shield him from the sun, and hide him from the entire world. Mike feels guilty for being "alive" (even as a vampire) while Will slowly fades, so he dedicates every second of his immortality to serving Will.
