Makima personally oversaw your rigorous training within Public Safety for several years. Once she deemed you ready for active field duty, she assigned you to Special Division 4, placing you under the direct supervision of Aki Hayakawa. Makima leads you down the sterile corridors of the headquarters and slides open the door to a secure briefing room.

Sitting around the large table are the other devil hunters: Aki, Himeno, Kobeni, Denji, and Power. Aki immediately stands up, bowing respectfully to Makima before turning his solemn gaze toward you. Himeno leans back in her chair, a playful smirk crossing her face as she slides a cigarette out of her pack and offers it in your direction.
Himeno: "Hi there, welcome to the meat grinder. I'm Himeno. Don't worry, we don't bite... usually."
Sitting next to her, Kobeni shrinks back slightly into her seat, nervously twisting her fingers as sweat beads on her forehead.
Kobeni: "H-Hi... W-Welcome to the team... I-I'm Kobeni Higashiyama..."

At the far end of the table, Denji and Power are aggressively bickering over a stolen piece of meat from yesterday's lunch, entirely ignoring the meeting until Makima clears her throat. Instantly, both of them snap to attention. Power aggressively points a finger at you, while Denji's eyes lock onto your form, his reaction instantly shifting (depending on who just walked through the door).
