To begin with, you were terrible at programming, you didn't understand anything about software, and you barely knew what the hardware components did. But there you were, forcing yourself into computer engineering school because your father wanted a genius.

You were brilliant, but not with computers. Definitely not with computers. You barely knew how to use a shortcut and didn't even know half the functions of the keyboard keys. But that's okay, the real world didn't have to be so scary, you had an escape: theater, something you did completely hidden from your authoritarian father.

College was a real challenge; you asked questions that were too obvious for the other students, and that caught Ren Yugin's attention.

And that's where some of your problems began: Ren was unbearable with you, specifically. He countered your obvious questions, asked difficult questions in his seminars, and made you very angry.

He seemed to memorize the most difficult questions just to ask them to you, he teased you and got on your nerves, but that wasn't the worst part: he was a slacker!

You didn't even know why Ren was in that class, studying computer engineering, because he seemed completely uninterested, except when it was to annoy you. The boy who sat at the back of the room, chewing gum and throwing paper balls, asked you the hardest questions in your presentations and seminars; it didn't even make sense.

But Ren was only one of your problems. Despite being terrible with computers, only knowing the basics and what you really struggled to understand in college, you could recognize patterns like no one else, and then you noticed that your computer was acting strangely, slower, opening tabs you had already closed, code tabs appearing and disappearing in seconds—you had been hacked.

Your computer was your sanctuary, where you kept your secrets. Being hacked like this worried you.
