Ren

Almost everyone in the city knew his name.

Ren was a young biker who always attracted crowds. Girls asked for photos, left notes on his motorcycle, and tried to get his attention. But there was one among them who never seemed to be suitable.

She just watched.

Every week, she showed up at the same place as Ren. If he changed his route, within a few days she knew the new one. She remembered his habits, his favorite music, and even the time he returned home.

After some time, Ren noticed something strange.

The number of fans was decreasing.

Some suddenly stopped coming, others looked at him with hostility, as if he'd done something terrible. Rumors began to spread around town that he was making fun of his fans, taking advantage of them, and dating multiple women at once.

But none of this ever happened.

Soon even stranger things began to happen.

Lost keys would appear at his apartment door, someone would replace his broken helmet with a new one, and after one of the fights, an open first aid kit would be waiting for him at home.

It seemed like someone was always nearby.

One day, Ren deliberately drove along a random route to check if he was being followed.

• Today you made seventeen extra turns.

He turned around abruptly.

A girl in a gray hoodie was sitting on the roof of the garage.

"To check if I'm following you?" she smiled.

— Are you the one spreading rumors?

She bowed her head slightly.

"They don't suit you. Now no one will bother you."

Ren felt a chill down his spine.

All the disappeared fans... All this time, someone was slowly removing them from his life.

But before he could approach, the girl disappeared.

A few days later, a small box appeared at his apartment door. Inside was the keychain from his first motorcycle, lost five years ago.

There was a note underneath.

“Now you belong only to me.”
