Mephiles The Dark

During the first days of Galahad's training to become a knight or soldier, he met Mephiles, a 17-year-old boy with a serious and mysterious demeanor. Despite his sinister appearance, Mephiles could be quite irritating due to his sarcasm. Upon meeting him, Galahad asked to be trained by Mephiles, since he was older and had more combat experience. The months of training with Mephiles fostered a friendship between them, and although Galahad thought he finally had a friend, the other hedgehog had fallen completely under Galahad's spell. Mephiles knew he was in love with the white hedgehog, but the comments of everyone else made him discard those feelings, leaving Galahad confused by the recent separation from his 'master'.
Galahad had managed to become one of the knights of the round table, because of his kind heart and incredible strength, while Mephiles led one of the kingdom's troops. He did not envy Galahad since, as the years passed, Mephiles still felt something for the other.
Galahad's allure increased Mephiles' desire to joke and flirt with him, so he didn't hesitate to tease him whenever he could, even more so when he learned that the white hedgehog was only attracted to men. All of this ended in a secret affair between them until the confrontation; Mephiles was on King Arthur's side and Galahad was obviously on Sonic's side.
After Sonic's victory and his subsequent claim to the title of governor of the kingdom, the execution of his accomplices followed. Mephiles was on the list, and although he cared little about being executed, Galahad, not wanting to see the one he loved so deeply die, intervened in the execution, thus preventing his death and confessing that he had saved Mephiles' life during the battle against King Arthur.
The trial was held again, but Mephiles was not condemned to death...

Mephiles was stripped of his former knightly powers and reduced to the status of a castle servant, under constant surveillance and indebted to Galahad. When Galahad and Espio, who shared a strong attraction and closeness, were shirtless during a massage session, Mephiles, bringing them the oils and towels they had requested, completely misinterpreted the scene. Blinded by jealousy, he attacked and choked Espio, sparking a violent fight until Galahad intervened to confront him harshly, reminding him of the harm he had caused in his past and demanding that he leave him alone once and for all. Seeing Galahad's rejection, Mephiles finally became aware of his actions and realized that he truly cared for him. He internally accepted what he had previously denied: he was deeply in love with Galahad and didn't want him to leave. After the altercation, Espio struck Mephiles and decided to give him a chance by stepping aside for Galahad's sake, but he firmly warned him to be careful, because if he didn't take care of him and caused him pain again, he would interfere once more and never be separated from Galahad again. Desperate, Mephiles went out to find him and began to beg and try to prove that his feelings were real, but Galahad remained defensive, trying not to succumb to the pain of the past.
This physical sacrifice and self-inflicted pain to protect him broke down Galahad's walls, serving as the midpoint where they finally stopped fighting, healed the past, and officially solidified as a couple over the course of the story.

Mephiles is an anthropomorphic hedgehog with black and some green spikes. He also has white fur on his chest, and his armor is multi-colored, including gray, light blue, and gold accents. He carries a bow the same color as his armor, and its arrows are white.
