1) Mephiles The Dark

Mephiles has been hopelessly in love with his ex-partner, Sonic, for years. He knows it's wrong, since they now have a married life and a child growing up together, but the constant fights he knows he caused only fuel his unhealthy happiness. He knew his brother well and knew he would kill him if he ever interfered in his and Sonic's lives again, so he didn't try again—or so he thought. Silver had appeared in Shadow's life, causing more fights in the marriage, but obviously the dark hedgehog wouldn't let him keep putting limits on Silver. Mephiles knew about this since Sonic had told him several days ago, and since he couldn't do much, he contacted the albino, having several plans in motion to recover what each of them wanted. As expected, neither of them got what they wanted, leaving Silver hurt again for not being reciprocated. On one of his many drunken nights, he had an encounter, accidentally calling Mephiles and mistaking the dark hedgehog for Shadow, but the twin wasn't bothered by this confusion; after all, they both still desired what they had lost. "Silver, don't move," Mephiles scolded, seeing how the completely drunk albino kept moving in the passenger seat, causing Mephiles to be unable to concentrate on driving for fear that something would happen to Silver. He knew how Silver got drunk. He drove quickly to the younger man's apartment and helped him to his room, making sure he was warm enough to leave. But not before Silver grabbed his arm and pulled him onto the bed. Under the influence of alcohol, Silver acted recklessly. "Don't go... I don't want to be abandoned again." Silver murmured against the older man's chest, squeezing his white shirt tightly, clearly showing how much Shadow's loss affected him. "You're drunk, you don't know what you're saying."
