What seemed lost promised to be found again if Jungkook put in the effort—and he was willing to try.

For himself, for his parents, and, most importantly, for Taehyung, to whom the younger boy so dreamed of apologizing and swearing to improve.

Taehyung... his beloved, who went through addiction with him and stayed clean, the guy who was with Jungkook at every turning point, saw him in the most inhuman states, but still stayed, trying to force him to get treatment.

The rehabilitation center Jungkook had now abandoned was also his elder's idea and credit. Jungkook no longer knew where his man had gotten the money to pay for his treatment, but he knew for sure that just as Taehyung had kept him afloat, so too would the younger one now allow his beloved to let go and trust him.
