Autumn began not with beautiful days of leaf fall, but with torment. Taehyung hadn't slept properly for two days, suffering from nesting. He lay in his hut, constantly building a nest from the pillows and blankets he had, breathing raggedly, trying to somehow alleviate the pain. His whole body ached, and his insides burned from the lack of the right scent. He hadn't gone outside all this time, the curtains were tightly drawn. His kind grandmother, a healer who pitied him because he had no loved ones left, brought him a tray of food. She watched as Taehyung buried his nose in the empty sheets and quietly whined in frustration.
