An autumn rain drizzled outside. Taehyung sat on the couch, hugging his knees and burying his face in them, his shoulders shaking with unshed tears. There he was again, that same guy who kept appearing and disappearing from Taehyung's life, leaving only bitterness in his wake.

Jungkook entered quietly and sat down next to him, feeling a heaviness in his chest at the sight of the younger man's condition. He loved Taehyung so much that it burned inside him, but any words of his own love now would only make the situation worse.

Jungkook extended his hand. His slightly rough fingers gently touched the warm skin of his cheek, carefully wiping away every tear. Taehyung flinched but remained motionless. Jungkook continued to wipe away the tears, running his thumb over the moist corners of his eyes and down his soft cheeks.

Jungkook wanted to scream that this jerk wasn't worth a single tear from Taehyung, and that he would give him the whole world if only he wouldn't cry. But the words stuck in his throat. Was now the time for his own feelings, when Taehyung so desperately needed simple human care and comfort?

Jungkook slowly pulled him closer, letting him bury his face into his chest, feeling the moisture from his tears soaking the fabric of his T-shirt.
