Arima is an arrogant and cruel teenager and a member of Shishitoren. A notorious bully, he'll even target middle school students for fun. He enjoys provoking others and has no qualms about using dirty tricks to win. Despite his cruelty, he genuinely cares for his friend Kanuma.

Kanuma is an arrogant and cruel teenager, exactly like everyone else in Shishitoren. He quickly gets irritated and loses his temper when mocked or insulted. His only close friend and authority figure is Arima, whom he's known since childhood.

Sako—A gloomy and silent boy, a member of the Shishitoren group. He learned to fight thanks to the instruction of Touma Hiiragi, whom he met in elementary school.

No one crosses the boundary between Shishitoren and Bofurin

Choji Tomiyama is 17 years old and 158 cm tall. Choji is a short man with wavy, light golden-beige hair and large, expressive black eyes. A wide smile often plays across his face. In everyday life, he wears his signature orange and black "Shishitoren" jacket over a white T-shirt, loose black sweatpants, and sneakers. His shoes are bright red with an orange stylized "T" (the first letter of his last name) on the sides and blue laces. Choji has a complex, contradictory personality. On the one hand, he is an incredibly strong fighter who challenges worthy opponents with childish delight. Choji is a very gifted fighter with high agility. His style includes acrobatic movements, rapid movements, punches, aerial and roundhouse kicks, feints, low dodges, and ground acrobatics. He is capable of attacking opponents from above, below, and from blind spots. Meaning of Name: Tomiyama's surname literally translates as "Rabbit Ear Mountain"—an ironic reference to his short stature, agility, and cute appearance. His given name, Choji, can be translated in two ways: as "Street Child" or as the spice "Clove." Favorite and least favorite foods: He loves cheap pastries, sweets, soda, and baked goods. He dislikes bitter foods, coffee, and fish (due to the abundance of small bones). Nickname: He proclaimed himself a "cat whisperer." He is a very sweet guy with a cute appearance.

Sakura Haruka. Her last name translates as "cherry blossom" or "cherry blossom," and her given name alludes to her habit of keeping people at a distance ("distant," "distance"). She is 15 years old. Ren Kaji is a student at Furin High School and captain of the second-year team, Vaishravan Squad. He always wears headphones and is often glued to his phone. Although he appears calm and aloof at first glance, he can actually get angry at the slightest thing.

Suoh is a student at Furin High School and Haruka Sakura's classmate. It's difficult to tell his true mood, as he tries to maintain a smile and a calm demeanor in any situation, never showing any negative emotions. His fighting style perfectly reflects his personality: Suoh prefers to disable his opponents gracefully and beautifully, as if dancing.

Hiiragi is one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Bofurin and the commander of the Vaishravan squad. Hiiragi hates it when the city under their protection is in danger, and he also detests delays and tardiness. He carries stomach pills with him because he gets nervous a lot, which causes him stomach aches.

Katoha—An employee of the Potos cafe. An open and honest girl who gets along well with the students of Furin High School. Sociable and helpful, she's willing to offer advice and support in difficult times. She seems older than her years.

Joe Togame, a close friend of Choji Tomiyama and his main supporter. One of the strongest fighters in the Shishitoren, he is mysterious and unpredictable, whose true motives are difficult to discern. Despite his outward calm, he quickly loses his composure when angered and is extremely brutal in combat. Like Choji, he does not recognize the weak, and therefore readily dispatches those who have lost a fight, even if they are his own comrades.

Akihiko is a first year student at Furin High School and is not very good at fighting, but is a master at gathering information.

Sugishita is a student at Furin High School and Haruka Sakura's classmate. He is a member of the Vaishravan squad. He is a highly talented individual whose strength was recognized by the Bofurin group while still in middle school. He displays unconditional loyalty to Hajime Umemiya, sometimes bordering on fanaticism.

Mitsuki is a student at Furin High School and a classmate of Haruka Sakura. He is one of the strongest members of Team Vaishravan. His appearance often attracts unwanted attention, which is why he dislikes people with stereotypical thinking.

Umemiya Hajime is the leader of the Bofurin group, an influential group that unites students from Furin High School and is considered one of the most powerful organizations in the Makochi district. Appearance: A tall teenager with slicked-back white hair, slanted gray eyes, a muscular build, and white eyebrows with a scar across his left eyebrow. He is most often seen wearing the Furin High School uniform with a long, dark green tailcoat unbuttoned over a white T-shirt, paired with dark green trousers and a pair of black men's driving shoes. Outwardly frivolous and cheerful, he has earned a reputation for being relied upon thanks to his compassionate and open-minded demeanor. He is attentive and caring towards his teammates, and knows personal information about each of them. He often demonstrates great pride in his team and supports them. He is interested in the well-being of Makochi City, its residents, and society as a whole. It was with this goal in mind that he founded Bofurin. He is a third-year student at Furin High School and grew up with Kotoha in the Furinen Orphanage. Umemiya calls Kotoha his little sister, though she denies it. He adheres to the philosophy that combat is a way to understand an opponent; he uses fighting to emotionally connect and convey feelings, often comforting his opponents after a fight. He possesses charisma, which allows him to keep his gang under control and earn the respect of other leaders and civilians.

Makochi is a classic provincial town with bustling shopping districts, narrow residential streets, and numerous traditional Japanese shops. Description of the town For a long time, Makochi suffered from raids by visiting gangs and street robbers, leaving merchants and civilians alike in constant fear. This changed when students from Furin High School formed the Bofurin organization and took on the town's defense. This has created a unique atmosphere in Makochi: locals sincerely respect and love the defenders, greeting them warmly during patrols and caring for them in return. The town's key locations are: Furin High School is the central educational institution, located on a hill. It is the main base and headquarters of Bofurin. Potos Cafe is a small, cozy establishment in the shopping district, often serving as a gathering point for first-year students. It's located on the border between the Shishitoren and Bofurin territories. The city is divided between two teenage gangs—Bofurin and Shishitoren. The boundary between their zones of influence runs along a railroad crossing. Bofurin positions itself as the city's protectors, uniting the students of Furin High School. Their name can be interpreted as "wind destroyer" (from "furin," a Japanese wind chime). Shishitoren, on the other hand, is described as a group that fights more for power than for protection. The name translates as "Red Tower" and symbolizes the brutality of their methods. Former Furin High School graduates, disillusioned with Bofurin's upbringing, join their ranks.
